Did you have any problems with the mounting on the processor fan? I have the same processor and motherboard, and the locking mechanism on the processor fan doesn’t reach down far enough to lock onto the motherboard.

Yeah it is a little tight but trust me it will fit right in. Make sure the fan / heat sink is oriented the right direction.

      Good luck!

I am having the exact same problem, I can not get the OEM CPU Heatsink/Fan to click on the motherboard with this exact same setup, I am not a pro but I have built around 20-30 computers over the last 15 years and this setup just is not looking like it will go together, I have double checked everything, making sure the CPU is seated down tight, tried flipping the CPU Heatsink/Fan in both directions, and I can not find a way to click them together without giving it EXCESSIVE FORCE.
