These builds are compiled every month and are intended for the more lucrative gamer types; with performance expectations being phenomenal at resolutions of 1440p and beyond (perhaps 4K if you wanted to), and expect super high frames per second (FPS) while gaming. There is really little reason to spend more on a gaming build as this is a perfect budget to fit in quality hardware that can guarantee high performance rates are the higher resolution range – if it gets any higher you start getting into 4K gaming, and if you want to guarantee 60+ FPS in 4K than you are looking at very expensive graphics cards well beyond a $1500 build.

$1500 2017 PC Build – March
This is the highest end gaming pc build here on the monthly builds article, which will be best for gaming at 1440p (2K) resolutions, and even able to play comfortably into 4K (even more so should you get the GTX 1080 graphics card). If you look a little further below there are hardware upgrades for this build that all increase performance a step further to either further solidify those higher resolutions or future games should you have a higher budget for you pc build this March 2017.

This build has a budget of $1300 to $1500 because the only thing in the way of the two differing budgets is the graphics card choice – you either choose a GTX 1070 or a GTX 1080. Your choice depends on both budget and at what resolutions you see yourself gaming at.

This is the highest end gaming pc build here in Newb Computer Build’s Gaming PC Builds of the month articles and below you will find a solid 2017 gaming pc build able to rock any game out there. And unless you are a high-rolling baller that is seriously into the hobby side of building the most extravagant gaming pc build possible, a great budget then this is generally not worth it for your standard gamer; which these articles are meant for. June 2016 is a hot month for those that have been waiting on the new Pascal graphics card releases from Nvidia, and right-fully so. These cards are faster, more efficient promising better VR capability, 4K gaming and so much more (TomsHardware has done a great GTX 1080 Pascal Review). The GTX 1080 card has been released, however the only caveat is current availability and un-predictable pricing. So you have two choices for gteat graphics cards above – the GTX 1080 for the patient individuals who can wait a tad longer, and a the GTX 980Ti graphics card for those that want to purchase right away or take advantage of the much lower cost of this card now.

Best $1500 PC Build 2016 – May
Here you’ll find the perfect build for being able to max out games all the way up to 2K resolutions (this include 1080p!) and you’ll even be able to play games into the 4K range with settings cranked down (if you think you’ll be 4K gaming then check out the hardware alternatives table included below). The April 2016 $1500 build is much cheaper this month hovering in at closer to $1400 than $1500 – what this means for any newer builders is that you can get into extreme gaming at a great price. This build is capable of maxing games out with super high FPS rates from 1080p to 1440p and even will play available game titles at 4K with playable FPS. So if you are looking for a gaming pc to do pretty much anything (as in play all games on the higher of resolutions), this is it.

So if you are looking for a gaming pc to do pretty much anything, this would be it. Now, not much has changed since last month in this build and for good reason! The March $1500 build has some of the strongest gaming hardware and as a whole, is even cheaper at the start of this month.

I have switched up the labeling of the builds to more accommodate and help you choose a gaming pc that fits your particular goals. By goals, I mean the resolutions and rough settings that you may want to be gaming at. This build is for those that are looking to max out most games with resolutions up to 2560×1440 (1440p) resolutions and even for those that want a little bit of “future-proofing” in their build.
