December 2020 Gaming PC Builds of the Month

Here’s the December 2020 Gaming PC Builds of the month — the final pc builds of the month for this year and things could not be more exciting in the gaming pc hardware world!

Over the past few months, we saw NVIDIA release their amazing RTX 30 GPU’s, and we’ve included the RTX 3070, and even the RTX 3080 as an upgrade in the highest-end $1500 build this December. This is very exciting, since, with these newer cards, we are seeing amazing benefits to gaming performance, at technically lower costs of GPU per frame rates gained in games.

AMD also released their newest GPU’s with their 6000 series of GPUs, which I have included as an upgrade option for a couple of builds seen below, however, these sold out immediately and may not be seen in stock over the next little bit. If you are in the market for one, perhaps wait a couple of weeks…or a month to build.

GPU’s were not the only exciting releases, we also saw the amazing launch of the Ryzen 5000 series CPUs, which are AMD’s brand new CPUs, and these are now included in the gaming pc builds this month with the Ryzen 9 5600X.

So as you can see…there have been a ton of newer releases. And with newer releases that are performing very well, also comes a great demand for hardware. So don’t be too hard done by if you are seeing more hardware than usual out of stock, it will either be back in stock shortly, or there are always alternatives – be sure to ask in the comments if you have any questions on finding other hardware if needed.

Which December 2020 PC Build is right for you?

Included in the gaming PC builds of the month, you will find builds anywhere in-between $500, $700, $1000, and $1500. This should accommodate most PC gamers out there that play in a multitude of gaming settings, maxing games anywhere from 1080p, 1440p and play really well into 4K.

If you are not sure which pc build is right for you based solely on your budget, then here is a quick breakdown on which build may be a right fit for you:

  • $1500 PC Build: For gaming at 2K resolutions into 4K
  • $1000 PC Build: For gaming MAX settings at 2K resolutions
  • $700 PC Build: For gaming at MAX settings 1080p resolutions into 2K
  • $500 PC Build: Basically a console killer and will play any game out there, sometimes scaled-down in settings.

Best of luck building the best possible gaming pc build this December 2020. If you have any questions be sure to leave a comment or simply join our new Facebook Group: Gaming PC Builders Facebook Group.
