January 2021 Gaming PC Builds of the Month ($1500, $1000, $700 & $500)

PC Build Navigation:

We made it — welcome to the first Gaming PC Builds of the Month for January 2021.

Have you been trying to build a gaming pc over the past couple of months? Because if you have, then you will know just how hard it might be to get your hands on a decent performing Graphics Card.

And I mean, pretty much any graphics card. To be expected, the newest NVIDIA RTX 30 GPU’s and new AMD 6000 series GPU’s that came out late fall, all sold out immediately and have since been very hard to get. And to add to that, there seems to have been a trickle-down effect to even previous-gen graphics cards – hence why there’s a supply problem right now.

My suspicion is that as the month goes on and with the holiday season behind us, it will get easier to get your hands on a decent GPU, so until then keep clicking that refresh button.

All of the gaming pc builds of the month below include the proper GPU’s for their budget with the idea of maximizing every dollar for the maximum performance possible, however, where a GPU is currently in stock, MSRP pricing has been used.

While it may be hard to build your complete build immediately, I can tell you one thing for certain — it’s an amazing time to be building a PC in an era where we’ve finally seen significant bumps in gaming performance with new hardware (GPU and CPU) releases. This is all while games like Cyber Punk 2077 are being released, which are pushing our PC gaming performances to the brink.

Which January 2021 PC Build is right for you?

Included in the gaming PC builds of the month, you will find builds anywhere in-between $500, $700, $1000, and $1500. This should accommodate most PC gamers out there that play in a multitude of gaming settings, maxing games anywhere from 1080p, 1440p and play really well into 4K.

If you are not sure which pc build is right for you based solely on your budget, then here is a quick breakdown on which build may be a right fit for you:

Best of luck building the best possible gaming pc build this January 2021. If you have any questions be sure to leave a comment or simply join our new Facebook Group: Gaming PC Builders Facebook Group.

Overview | Best Gaming PC Build for $1500

The $1500 gaming pc build for January 2021 includes a new AMD Ryzen 5600X CPU (this is a new one, so stock is also low so an alternative CPU could still be the Ryzen 7 3700X). This is paired with another powerfully new piece of hardware, the RTX 3070 graphics card, making this a very powerful gaming pc capable of extreme performance in games at higher resolutions.

If you are looking for an over the top, very fast performing gaming PC build that you don’t have to worry about tweaking very much in order to max all games out at HD and higher resolutions, then this build is for you. However, unless you are wanting to get into seriously high-end 4K gaming, you shouldn’t need much more.

If you still think you need increased performances, you could upgrade your CPU or GPU if you have the excess funds to do so. If that is the case, you could simply consider upping the graphics card to something like an RTX 3080 (if you can find them in stock). This build also includes a very good gaming pc case, with great cooling included and more.
