I just finished updating the Third Tier Gaming Build. Although the older build came in at around $600, the new one comes in at $630, but it is well worth it. As with the Second Tier Gaming Build I swapped the older 320GB Western Digital hard drive for a better SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5″ Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive giving you tons of more space while using a quality brand hard drive. I switched to a much cheaper MSI 870-G45 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard that comes in at $69.99 and offers much of the same functionality.
Finally, the biggest improvment to this build is the inclusion of the MSI N460GTX Twin Frozr II SOC GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 768MB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video card. This is a much greater card than the previous one offering a much better graphics potential while gaming, as well gaming at much higher resolutions of 1920×1200 on high game settings.
