By far the best upgrade you can do to boost gaming with this $1000 gaming PC would be to upgrade the graphics card -- such as going with the suggested GeForce RTX 4070! This GPU will more than easily slice through games at 1080p and 1440P resolutions at high FPS.
The first included is a CPU cooler upgrade, the be quiet! BW006 not only provides very high cooling performance and a more customized cooling experience than the included stock AMD wraith stealth cooler but will help you push the Ryzen 5 7600 to the next level, being able to support more cooling as you overclock, if that's what you're into.
If you are looking to bump up your storage space right off the bat, then simply upgrade to the 2TB version of the Crucial P3 NVMe SSD, which doubles your available storage capacity.

Why do you use ryzen 7600 in this article instead using 13th gen i5, I believe 13th gen i5 doesn’t make huge different on price.

Great question. First, you’d still be good going with something like an Intel i5 13400, and you could still even get the option to go with DDR4 there. You might have even saved significantly going that route a couple months back. However, for a gaming focused PC and from a future proofing perspective you will have a slight gaming edge going with a Ryzen 7600 and will have a solid choice going with an AM5 platform going forward. You’d be good either way though.
