The winner of GamesCon 2011, Battlefield 3 for the PC delivers enhanced visual quality using DICE’s cutting edge game engine Frostbite 2 (this is said to take animation, destruction, lighting, scale and audio to new heights). This game looks amazing and can support up to 64 players in multiplayer!
In the single player campaign you step into the role of the elite U.S. Marines where you follow your missions through a bunch of locations like Paris, Tehran and New York. The year is set in 2014 where SSgt Blackburn leads a five man squad to find and return a US squad investigating a possible chemical weapons site. The US Squad was last seen in a market controlled by some hostile militia. Soon however, Blackburn and his squad are in the middle of a massive earthquake in Iran and the story continues from there. The campaign will also have a cooperative mode.
