June has sprung and so have the most recent gaming PC builds of the month.
Before going into this month, I was almost certain I was going to be recommending completely different builds based on Intel’s most recent CPU releases of their 10th generation CPU launch of “Comet Lake“. This would include the newer Intel 10900K (~$530), 10700K (~$409) and 10600K (~$285) that could have potentially made it into these specific pc builds you see below.
However, based on recent benchmarks – it seems while the Intel Comet Lake CPUs are great contenders, especially in single-threaded applications and games, however for the cost, the performance boost is negligible when compared to the Ryzen CPUs below. Specifically for the higher-end builds in this article where these CPUs would make the most sense.
The newer Intel CPUs DO technically perform better, but on average in gaming, it’s by 10-20 more FPS, and you would be paying roughly $100+ more if you could consider the Ryzen 3700X could be swapped for an Intel 10700K in the $1500 build below, and a Ryzen 3600X for the Ryzen 10600K in the $1000 build below. And on top of that, you could need a newer Intel Z470 motherboard and a separate cooler as they don’t include one in the box. However, if you do think you would be interested in a Comet Lake build and want to squeeze every single FPS out of every single game you have, it might be a little tough over the next month in terms of supply and availability of any of the Intel 10900K, 10700K or 10600K.
In the July 2020 gaming PC builds of the month, you will find builds anywhere in-between $500, $700, $1000, and $1500. This should accommodate most PC gamers out there that play in a multitude of gaming settings, maxing games anywhere from 1080p, 1440p and play really well into 4K.

The $1500 gaming pc build for July 2020 includes a powerful AMD Ryzen 3700X CPU. This is paired with a powerful RTX 2070 SUPER graphics card, making this a very powerful gaming pc capable of extreme performance in games at the higher of resolutions.
Seriously, this build is probably way more than a typical gamer’s needs and should be considered the best of the best unless you are wanting to get into seriously high-end 4K gaming. If that is the case, you could simply consider upping the graphics card to something like an RTX 2080 SUPER or RTX 2080 Ti. Gaming PC Peripheral Ideas (Monitors, Mice & Keyboards)
If you are new to pc building, you may not know that over and above the pc hardware included in the pc builds above, you will need some PC peripherals (keyboard, mouse, and monitor) to actually take control of your pc and use it. And furthermore, you will need an operating system (ie. Windows 10).
